Furniture and mattresses are why most people come in the first time. The home goods are why they keep coming back. Sheets and linens, bath towels, dishware, pots and pans, tabletop appliances: the everyday things a house runs on.
Most of it comes to us as shelf pulls, discontinued items or out-of-season stock from department stores and national retailers. They need the shelf space for what's next, we buy the load, and it goes on our shelves for a lot less than the tag it came with.
We never know exactly what the next truck will bring, and neither will you. That's the point. Regulars stop in whenever they're running errands downtown, because the good stuff doesn't wait around.

Why is it this cheap?
Three reasons, mostly. Shelf pulls: a store cleared its shelves to make room for new stock. Discontinued items: the brand changed the line. Out-of-season stock: the holiday dishes and summer linens that have to go when the calendar turns.
None of that changes how a sheet set sleeps or a skillet cooks. We buy it by the load, skip the department-store markup, and pass the difference along.
Quantities are small and nothing gets reordered. If you see something you like, that's the day to take it home.

An item a store took off its shelves to make room for new stock. The item itself is new; the box may show some wear from sitting on display.
